Painting contractor during the week and racer on the weekend! AJ started flat track at the ripe age of 3 on his Yamaha peewee 50 for R&D in Monterey CA. He won his first Championship in 1985. At the age of 12 he held a Camel Pro Plate for the 250 & 600cc class. At the age of 15, he started racing street stocks, then to Modifieds and Late Models.

In 2003 - 2014 AJ raced his late model in the Lucas Oil circuit. During that time he also raced sprint cars and in the NASCAR craftsman truck. In 2016 at the age of 37, AJ decided to go back to flat track. His first year back he won the championship on his Honda 450 and again in 2017. In 2018 he started racing for RSD in the SHNC while also riding his personal Indian Scout Sixty in the Western Flat Track Series, taking the championship. In 2019 we put him on team RSD X Indian and ended up 6th in the AMA SHNC series.
